The Dave Nation is a guy named Dave who likes to create.
I’m a North Carolina-born artist based in Raleigh, NC. I have a career in marketing. If you live in NC, you have probably seen some of my work for the
corporate world.
No matter what stage in life I’ve been in, I have always had a need to create things like art, music, and food and share it with others. That’s why
I work in marketing, why I’m a musician, why I’m always cooking. And why I am a visual artist. To this point, a lot of my work has been pop art-style
character work. Recently, I have been working on collections of different fish and marine life.
Products featuring my art are available in a few exclusive locations and online. You may see me out at a show or festival.
All of the work you see was created by hand. I use paper, colored pencil, pen, metallic ink, graphite, and charcoal to create the original images that are reproduced.
